This royal had a second secret wedding and her dress was stunning

Last month, Princess Charlotte of Monaco's wedding looked as epic as you'd hope for a royal wedding. She wore two outfits, the second of which was a Chanel dress and the perfect nod to her late grandmother, Grace Kelly.

And it looks like the royal might be getting addicted to bridal wear, as she just went and got hitched again this weekend.

Like Sophie Turner and Zoe Kravitz, Charlotte had a lavish ceremony in France, saying 'I do' (again) to film producer Dimitri Rassam in Saint-Remy de Provence.

For the occasion, the bride wore a custom made Giambattista Valli dress which was heavily 70s-inspired. It featured a sheer high neck embroidered with flowers, balloon sleeves and ruffles.

It was very different to the Princess' first two wedding outfits. One was a short dress adorned with bows, by Saint Laurent, and the second a sleek ballgown by Chanel.

This final dress was actually very reminiscent of the one her mother Princess Caroline wore to wed her first husband Philipe Junot in 1978.

She later divorced him and married Charlotte's father, Stefano Casiraghi in 1983, though he sadly died seven years later in a speed boating accident.

Grace Kelly’s daughter wed Philippe Junot in the 70s, wearing a classic bohemian style of the time. We love the fact she shunned a tiara in favour of a crown of flowers.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
