Donna Air, Jodie Kidd and Amber Le Bon all got it right in statement dresses at Cartier Queen's Cup game.

Choosing the perfect outfit for a polo game might seem like a daunting task - especially when a handful of world's most prestigious stars are likely to be in attendance.

Take yesterday's Cartier Queen's Cup match as an example. Guests from the worlds of stage, screen, sport, society and literature joined the Queen at the Guards Polo Club in Windsor to see the King Power Foxes beat Team Dubai.

After dining on delicious dishes including a Scottish langoustine and fennel salad dressed with a basil and lemon oil, the VIPs watched the action on the field from the Cartier enclosure. It was then that we spotted a trio of winning looks.

Amber Le Bon, Jodie Kidd and Donna Air really impressed us when it came to fashion, with all three building their elegant ensembles around a statement dress.

Knowing that pastel tones are totally on-trend for SS15, Amber hit the glamorous Cartier gathering in a dainty pale pink and cream skater.

The 25-year-old paired the mini with a tailored jacket that nipped her in at the waist. As well as smartening things up, a blazer will provide an extra layer if the weather turns chilly.

Amber - who wore her hair in a sleek and straight style - stuck to a grey colour scheme with accessories by slipping on a pair of strappy sandals and popped her essentials in a large tote.

An outfit like this is ideal for anyone wishing to show off their sunkissed skin.

Those of you wanting to wear something a little more modest should look to Donna Air for inspiration. James Middleton's girlfriend graced the event in a demure pleated dress layered over a high-neck blouse.

Falling to a couple of inches above the 35-year-old's monochrome lace-up boots, the blush-coloured design looked undeniably chic.

She chatted with Cartier UK's managing director Laurent Feniou before posing for pictures with Jodie, 36, who was a vision in navy blue. Featuring a single shoulder strap, Jodie's figure-flattering Amanda Wakeley midi is sure to appeal to fans of asymmetric styling.

What else do we like about Jodie's look? She traded stilettos for a pair of pretty (and practical) flat sandals instead - if you're nervous sinking into the grass in spike-heeled shoes, we suggest you do the same.
