Cher Lloyd, Katie Waissel, Diva fever and co will set to work on the cover and their music video for the track in the coming week.

So despite being kicked out of the live shows last week, it looks as though Simon's band FYD and and Dannii's boy Nicolo Festa will still feature on the track and in the video.

The song only reached number 24 in the charts when David Bowie released it in 1977, despite it now being a huge hit for the singer.

This cover follows previous X Factor charity single efforts, with former hopefuls releasing Mariah Carey's Hero in 2008, and Michael Jackson's You Are Not Alone, last year - both of which took the top spot in the charts.

Help4Heroes is working to raise the money needed to make wounded soldier recovery centres, thought to cost £44 million, reports The Sun.

Meanwhile, earlier this week Louis sparked rumours of a bust up between him and fellow judge Cheryl by telling the Girls Aloud star live on TV ‘it’s not all about you!’

The Irish music mogul refused to say sorry and sarcastically called Cheryl ‘the nation’s sweetheart’.
