Never fear X Factor fans, Cheryl Cole WILL return to the judging panel for X Factor next year – but Dannii Minogue’s seat is in doubt
Never fear X Factor fans! The talent show will be back for another series in 2010, and Cheryl Cole WILL be on the judging panel - but Dannii Minogue has yet to confirm her attendance.
After Simon Cowell threatened to axe the show only days ago, the speculation over X Factor's future has finally been put to rest.
For a while it was thought that Simon might decide to put the show on hold next year, instead concentrating on launching the format in America.
There were also whispers that Cheryl Cole might be giving up her seat in order to concentrate on her Stateside career - but it has now been confirmed that not only will the nation's sweetheart be back for 2010, but she'll also be getting a massive boost to her £1.2 million deal.
But fellow judge Dannii Minogue's future remains uncertain. It is thought that the Aussie starlet is unhappy after being constantly asked to switch seats with Louis Walsh on the panel throughout the series.
‘I have no idea why I was told to change seats,' she said in an interview yesterday with Heat magazine. ‘ I was told four different reasons by four different people, who all said it was the other person's decision.'
‘I actually thought I might be judging from the side of the stage at one point,' she added.
We're a little devastated at the thought that our most stylish judge may not be returning...
