Victoria Beckham enjoys birthday bash with A-list pals – but where's David?

Victoria Beckham last night hit the town in LA for her 35th birthday with a host of A-list pals, including Eva Longoria Parker, Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez.

But hubby David was nowhere to be seen, as the footie ace had work commitments in Milan.

Desperate Housewives star Eva joined Posh in the back of her personalised luxury car, and flashed a big smile as the pair arrived for the bash at upmarket eaterie Cecconi's.

The birthday girl looked ultra-glam as usual in a sports luxe silk tracksuit-style top and pistachio-green mini by Stella McCartney spring 2009.

Victoria celebrated her birthday (17 April) with David last weekend in Milan, as they knew they could not be together on her big day.

But she won't be without family – she's flown her mum and dad, who joined her for the celebrity-packed dinner, over from Britain to celebrate with her, instead.

Meanwhile, Katie Holmes undoubtedly needed a boost from the girls – her family has been hit by tragedy, with reports emerging that her brother-in-law died on Sunday from suspected heart failure.

The husband of her older sister, Tamera, 41, died on Easter Sunday after visiting his elderly mother.

Katie is expected to return to her hometown of Toledo, Ohio, for the funeral on Monday.
