Victoria Beckham, a UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador, found time to mix fashion with some important humanitarian work on her current trip to China.

The designer has been in Hong Kong and Beijing to promote her sunglasses range, to attend an amfAR fundraising gala, which was hosted by Hollywood pal Gwyneth Paltrow, and to judge the International Woolmark Prize.

Amongst all that glamour she was sure to spend some time supporting the UNAIDS Zero Discrimination campaign. In a series of tweets, VB posted photographs of her meeting some key figures, including Director of # UNAIDS in China Dr Catherine Sozi, who talked her through the project.

Victoria wrote: 'I'm proud to stand with @UNAIDS China working towards a world with #zerodiscrimination ,' followed by: 'Everyone has the right to a life of dignity. Join me, @UNAIDS and Dr. Catherine Sozi to make change happen.'

Mrs Beckham, who has been keeping her followers up-to-date on her Asia trip with daily Insta posts, was made a UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador in September 2014.

UNAIDS is working towards ensuring that all children are born free from HIV and that children and women who are living with and affected by HIV have access to medicines and care.

At the time of her appointment, Victoria said: 'This is the beginning of an important journey for me. As a woman and a mother I have a responsibility to support other women.

'I am proud and honoured to be working with UNAIDS in this new role to help to raise resources and awareness to support and empower women and children affected by HIV.'
