Dreamgirls' Bill Condon will take the helm and direct Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the Twilight's Saga's final chapter, Breaking Dawn
Twilight Breaking Dawn has finally found a director, and the man taking up the challenge is Dreamgirls' Bill Condon.
Following months of speculation, where rumours flew that Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant were among names in the running, Summit Entertainment has finally confirmed that it will be Condon in the hot seat to lead Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in the fourth and final chapter of the Twilight Saga.

Commenting via a statement, the Oscar-nominated director said: 'I'm very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life onscreen. As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book - and we're hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience.'
Also excited by the news was Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, who posted on her website: 'I'm so thrilled that Bill wants to work with us. I think he's going to be a great fit, and I'm excited to see what he does with the material.'
Now that Condon is on board, it is excepted that Summit will soon confirm whether Breaking Dawn - which is over 700 pages long - will be split into two separate movies.
