Taylor Swift is reportedly 'embarrassed' by her million-dollar legs – but she's not alone…

If the National Enquirer rumour-mill is anything to go by, this weekend it was revealed that Taylor Swift's perfect pins have been insured for a whopping $40 million. Ka-CHING, anyone?

The 25-year-old singer is reportedly embarassed by the sum but was keen to insure her legs in case of any routine injury on stage. Little did she know her famous stems would be worth quite that much.

It's certainly a far cry from the A-list price-tag of the 1940s when 20th Century Fox insured actress Betty Grable's legs for $1 million… each. Which has got us thinking about the most expensive celebrity body parts over the years.

Let's take a look at ten of the priciest:

1. Madonna Body asset: Breasts Price tag: $2 million She might have made the conical-bra de rigueur, but rumour has it Madge was expecting far more than $2 million for her double-assets… although exactly why she felt the need the insure her breasts is anyone's guess.

2. Kylie Minogue Body asset: Bum Price tag: $5 million When The Sun ran a front page that announced Kylie's bum a 'national treasure' the woman herself said: 'I really did laugh at that. It's not like it can actually do anything, except wiggle.' Let's face it, who hasn't been mesmerised by Kylie's posterior at some time in their life? What's more, who didn't try to recreate that gold hot pants look in her Spinning Around video? No suprises then that her

3. Julia Roberts Body asset: THAT smile Price tag: $30 million They say you can't put a price on happiness but Pretty Woman star Julia Roberts certainly can. Her cheshire-grin will go down in history as one of the most famous smiles in A-lister history.

4. Dolly Parton Body Asset: Breasts Price tag: $600,000 Dolly Parton once joked: 'I was the first woman to burn my bra – it took the fire department four days to put it out.' She ain't wrong: reportedly measuring 40DD, it may come as a surprise that Dolly's assets aren't worth more than $600,000…

5. Kim Kardashian Body Asset: Bum Price tag: $21 million Although we struggled to find a confirmed grand total, rumours on the internet suggest that Kim's famous rear is worth a ridiculous $21 million. Yes, THAT much. Well, it did break the internet after all…

6. Heidi Klum Body Asset: Legs Price tag: $2 million In 2011 Project Runway's Heidi Klum revealed her legs were valued at an impressive $2 million. Only, tragically, one of her pins actually let her down: 'I had one scar here from when I fell on a glass, so this [left leg] isn’t as pricey and this [right] one', she revealed in an interview for US show Extra at The Grove.

7. Rihanna Body Asset: Legs Price tag: $1 million They may not be worth quite as much as Heidi's but in 2007 Gillette crowned Rihanna 'Celebrity Legs Of A Goddess' and prompty insured them for a million.

8. Claudia Schiffer Body Asset: Face Price tag: $5 million One of the most famous supermodels of the Nineties still commands a high price. Puts a whole new definition on the term 'The Face', doesn't it?

And it's not just the ladies, either...

9. David Beckham Body Asset: Legs Price tag: $70 million Any excuse to celebrate Becks in his pants, eh? At the height of his career, Beckham's legs were valued as highly as $70 million. Which is, frankly, an insane amount of money...

10. Daniel Craig Body Asset: ALL of DC Price tag: $9.5 million Insisting on doing most of his own stunts during the making of Quantum of Solace, 007 was insured for a whopping $9.5 million.
