Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens is less than a month away, and here at Marie Claire HQ, we may be getting a little Star Wars fever. But we’re not the only ones. Saturday Night Live got into the Star Wars spirit this weekend, and reeled off some never-before-seen audition tapes from the latest film…
Emma Stone made a surprise appearance, dressed up as Daisy Ridley’s Rey, (who else really wants that costume?) and poking fun at her Aloha casting controversy. Mad Men‘s handsome Jon Hamm meanwhile makes a much appreciated Han Solo joke, cleverly referring himself as ‘Hamm Solo’ in honour of Harrison Ford.
Featuring cameos from the new stars themselves, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega got in on the fun too, with Boyega even referencing the outrageous up-roar that his casting as a ‘black stormtrooper’ initially garnered when his appointment to the role was announced.
