Simon Cowell has been left fuming, after rowdy X Factor contestants caused 'thousands of pounds' worth of damage to his rented villa in Marbella.

The singing hopefuls are staying at the £15,000-a-day, 20-room holiday home with the media mogul, as part of the 'judges houses' stage of the competition.
But things got out of hand when the overexcited contestants decided to celebrate their good fortune, ending with them trashing the flashy villa.
It’s said the singers raided Mr Cowell’s drinks cabinet, polishing off expensive champagne and his favourite specially-imported Japanese beer.
The naughty contestants then popped out for a quick dip in the sea, but walked sand and seawater through the expensive house on the way back, ruining antique furniture and a particularly pricey Persian rug.
Not the best way to impress the new boss!
'It was chaos. It is thousands of pounds of damage. They were just very excited and things got out of hand,' one ITV insider told the Daily Mail.
And yesterday, Simon Cowell was said to be ‘furious’ with his protégés, who he says woke him up during the night with their partying antics.
'Yes they did wake me up,' he said. 'Any damage will have to be paid out of their first royalty cheque if they make it - to teach them a lesson.'
