Scarlett Johansson is going to be a mum.

The 29-year-old actress attended the Cesar Film Awards in Paris on Friday, on the arm of fiancé Romain Dauriac. Scarlett looked amazing on the red carpet, dressed in slim black trousers and a navy jacket - but when she took her seat, a slight baby bump seemed to be visible under her blazer.

Rumours began flying that Scarlett was pregnant - and several news outlets have since confirmed that she and her French fiancé are, indeed, expecting their first child together.

The happy couple have not yet commented on the pregnancy. But Scarlett did open up about her engagement in the December issue of Marie Claire.

Following her summer proposal, the actress debuted her dazzling engagement ring 'like it [was] a new car' at the Venice Film Festival in September. But she took a Zen approach to the inevitable media storm that followed.

'My friend emailed me and said, “Wow, it’s so great that you’re about to go do this huge invasive press tour for ten days.” He said, “That wont bring up every awkward question you don’t want to answer and won’t.” And I was like, you know, it is what it is.'

We couldn't be happier for Scarlett and Romain - and we can't wait to see more of what's sure to be a fabulous maternity wardrobe. We're guessing she'll be giving Kerry Washington a run for her money...
