Robert Pattinson doesn’t fit the hot actor stereotype reveals The Rover’s director
Robert Pattinson and his heartbreakingly hot looks have won him Kristen Stewart and almost every other female’s affections, (including Marie Claire) which means when The Rover director reveals the Brit isn’t a ‘pretty boy’ we beg to differ.

Of course David Michod – the man responsible for casting and directing Robert Pattinson meant this as a compliment, praising the instant impression the Brit made on him during the audition stage that went way beyond his physical talents.
He told The Sydney Morning Herald: ‘[Robert was] really smart, and not the sort of pretty boy I was expecting. As soon as it was time to start testing… he was my first choice, by a long way.’
And this thought is probably for the best, after all Robert’s role in The Rover isn’t to look his best. Shots from the set show the star with a shaved head, dirty teeth, stubble and at one point blood smeared on his face. Although not even this could put devoted fans off!
