Oh dear Ashley. More controversy as a glamour model claims to have received suggestive pictures from the star
Ashley Cole has become involved in yet more scandal, after nude pictures of him were allegedly sent to a glamour model.
Images of the football star and hubby to super songstress Cheryl Cole were reportedly sent to busty blonde model Sonia Wild in an exchange which took place in June last year.
And last night Cheryl's hubby admitted taking racy pictures of himself as he stayed with the England team in the Grove hotel in Hertfordshire.
But Ashley denied sending the suggestive messages to a glamour girl in the exchange which took place in June last year, and claims he gave his phone away without deleting the images.
'I can't believe I gave a phone away that still had stuff in its memory. I thought I'd deleted it,' he told The Sun.
He told of how someone must have used the phone pretending to be him, and jokingly tried to downplay the humiliating incident, as he rested up at home following an ankle injury.
'It seems I was wrong as someone has used it to pretend to be me. I would laugh if my foot didn't hurt so much,' he said.
And now the soccer star will have to explain the incident to wife Cheryl Cole.
‘He took the images on an unregistered pay-as-you-go phone then didn't manage to delete them when he gave it away to a mate,' said a source.
‘To say he's horrified to discover the pictures were sent to a model is an understatement.'
This will come as a new blow to Cheryl, who seems to just about have forgiven Ashley, after claims he cheated with hairdresser Aimee Walten in 2008.
And the news comes just days after Family Fortunes star Vernon Kay admitted sending racy messages to ‘four or five' friends and work collegues behind wife Tess Daly's back.
