Although they split earlier this year, it seems romance could still be on the cards for Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy. The prince’s former beau is said to be excited about Prince William and Kate Middleton's upcoming royal nuptials, and keen to patch things up with Harry before the ceremony.
WILLIAM AND KATE’S WEDDING: ALL THE DETAILS
The pair called off their romance earlier this year, after Chelsy postponed her training contract with top lawyers Allen and Overy and decided to return home to South Africa.
But it’s thought the pair have kept in contact since the split, with Harry reportedly planning to visit his ex-beau during a break in his pilot training over Christmas.
And now it’s thought Chelsy could be attending the royal nuptials, too.
‘Harry has said he would like Chelsy on the list because they are back in touch, even if she just comes over as a friend,’ one insider revealed.
‘William has always liked Chelsy and doesn’t have a problem with her being there and neither does Kate. They’d both love to see her again.’
And it’s thought the blonde beauty has already spoken to the happy couple, and wished them the best of luck.
‘Chelsy was genuinely happy for Kate and wanted to wish her all the best,’ the insider added.
‘She has been speaking to Harry, who’s very excited about the wedding and helping William plan his big day.'
In other royal wedding news, it's also been revealed Kate Middleton's sister Pippa could take up a key place in the royal household following the nuptials - as Kate's lady-in-waiting.
‘No one is suggesting Pippa would be a formal lady-in-waiting who would curtsy like the Queen’s aides do, but Kate will need someone to travel overseas with her and accompany her to events,' a royal insider told the Daily Mail. 'Pippa is the ideal choice, if it’s what she wants to do.’
