  • Owen Wilson's three-day drug binge before attempted suicide

Owen Wilson went on a three-day drugs binge on crystal meth and deadly pills before attempting to commit suicide, it has been reported.

The troubled star was taken to Cedars-Sinai clinic in Beverly Hills after someone phoned for an ambulance from his home in Santa Monica around midday on Sunday. He allegedly attempted to slit his wrists.

And The Wedding Crashers star is said to have binged on a cocktail of crystal meth – a highly addictive drug that is smoked or snorted and produces a high similar to crack – and a bottle of powerful Oxycodone painkillers, nicknamed Hillbilly Heroin because they are cheap and highly addictive.

Owen is feared to have tried to kill himself after seeing pictures of former flame Kate Hudson pictured with a new man just a couple of months after their split.

The actress had to be rushed off the set of her new film in Boston when she learned of the news.

‘She looked upset and was on the phone, pacing back and forth,’ one insider tells the Daily Mirror. ‘Then her handlers came out and covered her with an umbrella, she was ushered in to a white vehicle, then took off.’

The actor’s older brother Andrew is said to have found him after the alleged suicide attempt on Sunday afternoon, which has left shooting of his two new films – Marley & Me, starring Jennifer Aniston, and Tropic Thunder with Jack Black – up in the air.
