The stars condition is said to have worsened, after docs discover a worrying new development
Cheryl Coles condition is said to be unstable, after doctors reportedly diagnosed fluid on her lungs.
The sickly star was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with exhaustion last Sunday, after collapsing on a photo shoot.
Further tests revealed Mrs C (or Miss Tweedy, as she might soon be known) actually had a deadly strain of malaria, picked up during her recent trip to Tanzania with dancer friend Derek Hough.
Now events are rumoured to have taken another turn for the worse, with Derek accidentally revealing the worrying development, after another hospital visitor heard him on the phone.
Ive seen Cheryls mum and Derek in there, the onlooker revealed. ‘They stayed overnight last night. I overheard Derek on his phone saying she’s got fluid on her lungs.
And a close friend is said to have confirmed the statement, telling the Daily Mail: ‘She has got fluid on the lungs. She’s not good, no. She’s still in intensive care so it doesn’t look like she’ll be out of hospital for a while yet.’
Dancing with the Stars BFF Derek is said to have been holding a vigil at the stars bedside, along with mum Joan.
After a spokesman confirmed Cheryl will be taking a week off from her stint as an X Factor judge to recover, its thought preparations are being made for the star being out of action for up to six months.
Bosses are reportedly poised to scrap Cheryls anticipated V-Festival appearance, and could even pull the plug on the October launch of her new album until she is fully back to fitness.
We hope she gets well soon!
