Apparently it's time to go back to the grind...

If you're a Joe Manganiello fan, yesterday was a big day for you - because the latest poster for Magic Mike XXL was released, featuring the improbably ripped Manganiello (also known as the hot werewolf from True Blood) posed in what appears to be a pelvic thrust. Between his legs lies the winktastic caption: 'Back to the grind.'

So where do we stand on the upcoming sequel to 2012's Magic Mike

Magic Mike XXL (of course that's what it's called...) is on its way. It's not released in the UK until 3 July, but an enthusiastic marketing team has been drip-feeding fans with titillating, ab-filled posters for weeks. You can even sign up to MagicMikeMovie on Snapchat to be sent the latest pictures directly (careful your boss's boss isn't standing behind you when you open those).

And what have we learnt from all these clues? Well, we won't be seeing the return of Pettyfer, McConaughey, or Cody Horn, who played Brooke in the first movie. But there is a host of new female stars in the sequel: Jada Pinkett-Smith, Elizabeth Banks, Amber Heard and Andie MacDowell. Then there's the teaser trailer, which is essentially Tatum's version of the sweaty 'She's A Maniac' scene from Flashdance

Magic Mike XXL will involve sexy welding, sexy parties, and a new routine that we might call 'The Sexy Robot'. Maybe we should rise above all of this filth... but we do love those rip-off trousers.

Watch this space for more grinding, thrusting and sweating when the full trailer is released.
