The battle is still on between Madge and Guy over schooling for sons
It seemed like the dust had finally started to settle on Madonna and Guy’s divorce wranglings, but according to new reports, the pair are still in a bitter squabble over their children.
It was previously thought that the power pair had reached a compromise over their two sons, Rocco, 8, and David, 3, which saw the boys divide their time between Britain, to be with their father, and America, to see their mother. It was agreed that Madonna’s daughter Lourdes would continue living with her mother, Stateside.
However, the inevitable battle for child custody is, in fact, still ongoing and the Queen of Pop and former hubby have failed to agree on which country their sons should be sent to school.
Both sides hired top British lawyers to grant the pair a ‘quickie’ divorce last November and now renowned QC Peter Jackson has been brought on board to advise on the arrangements for the children.
So far, the pair have remained fairly dignified in their dealings with one another – aside from the odd rumour of Madge’s domineering demands and Guy’s denial he reaped at least £50million from the divorce.
However, it remains to be seen whether they can still play nicely now that the assets have been divided and all attention is on the children. Watch this space…
