Madonna and Sharon Stone wow at Cannes
They may have a combined age of 99, but two of the world’s most famous blonde bombshells, Madonna and Sharon Stone, still managed to wow the crowds at Cannes.
Appearing side-by-side at the premiere of Madge’s Malawi AIDS orphans documentary, I Am Because We Are, the glamorous pair were poster girls for the fifty-and-fabulous generation.
Madonna, who turns 50 in August, was stunning in a Chanel Spring 2007 Couture sequined, fringed gown, while Sharon, who turned 50 in March, was sexy and sophisticated in a slinky black halterneck.
Madonna – in town with hubby Guy Ritchie – and Sharon will team up tonight to raise money at the AmFAR Cinema Against AIDS fundraiser, which auctions off items for an AIDS charity.
Last year, Sharon hosted the star-studded event – and raised £3.5million at the annual Cannes aids benefit.
Stone is on the French Riviera to promote her new film, No Subtitles Necessary: Laszlo & Vilmos, which screens tomorrow.
