Macaulay Culkin's sister dies after being struck by car
Macaulay Culkin's sister, Dakota Culkin, has died after being run over by a car.
The 29-year-old sibling of the former Home Alone child star died last week when a car struck her in LA. She was reportedly walking along the street on the west side of Los Angeles, when she stepped off the curb and was tragically run down.
According to the Associated Press, police spokesman Richard French said Dakota died at the UCLA Medical Center from massive head injuries a day after she was hit.
French added that there was no active criminal investigation, and that the driver – who followed all laws and wasn't drink driving – stopped and tried to help Dakota, the eldest of two Culkin daughters.
An official statement from Macaulay's rep said: 'We can officially confirm that the victim is Dakota Culkin. This is a terrible tragic accident. We have no further comment at this time.'
