As London Fashion Week kicks off at Somerset House, it’s set to be a busy week of catwalk shows, gorgeous models and of course a few celebrity sightings. The stylish proceedings began last night with fashion parties galore and we have all the inside gossip on a couple of our favourites…

First up was the launch of Lily’s new store, Lucy in Disguise. Joined by a host of fashionable friends and family, including Jaime Winstone and Miquita Oliver, the store was packed with rails of vintage finds, available to buy or hire. With labels including Chanel, YSL and Ossie Clark, Lily’s new venture looks set to be a roaring success.

Next up was the Links of London party, held at the Club at the Ivy. Hosted by the gorgeous Cat Deeley, who was looking as glamorous as ever in an Emilio Pucci sequin maxi, the party was in celebration of her new role as Link’s global ambassador.

Daisy Lowe was spinning music on the decks, Fearne Cotton was looking loved up following her recent engagement news, while Professor Green was making all the girls swoon. Other guests included the glorious Matthew Williamson, Rupert Sanderson, Poppy Delevigne and Immodesty Blaize, affirming that this indeed was the hottest opening party in town!

Guests were treated to canapes in the form of sushi rolls with salmon and pickled ginger and mini Yorkshire puds while the bar was serving up ginger beer cocktails and wine all night, ensuring the celebrities were partying into the early hours…
