Lindsay Lohan wins Worst Actress nod at the Razzies

Lindsay Lohan was crowned queen of the Razzies this weekend, winning a record eight awards for her role in horror movie I Know Who Killed Me.

The annual Golden Raspberry Awards, held the night before the Oscars, ridicules the year's biggest movie flops with an alternative awards ceremony, celebrating movie howlers.

Lindsay raked in the statues including Worst Actress and Worst Screen Couple (she plays two characters in the same movie) and Worst Picture, beating previous record-holder, Showgirls. The actress was clearly felt sore about her wins, failing to turn up to the ceremony on Saturday night.

Lindsay wasn't the only star to take a hammering: Eddie Murphy came a close second with a hat-trick of awards including Worst Actor, Worst Supporting Actor and Worst Actress for his various roles in comedy Norbit.
