We all love a bit of nostalgia, but this may take the cake. Konrad Annerud, a 21-year-old Swedish bartender, has become our latest internet obsession after going viral. Why? Well, some people say he shares an uncanny resemblance to a young and dashing Leonardo DiCaprio...

Talking to Swedish outlet, nyheter24.se, Konrad is well aware of the uncanny resemblance: 'When I was in Italy this summer, I almost felt like shaving my hair off, it was very chaotic; people were yelling 'Leo' and wanted to take photos with me all the time. It was one of the craziest things I’ve ever experienced.'
Though the Swedish bartender understands that his 207,000 followers on Instagram are only following him for his 90s good looks, he doesn't seem to mind. 'It's fun to be like him, he's handsome,' he said.
The aspiring musician is now taking advantage of his newfound fame, and pursuing his real passion - his EP Let Me Break Through - now linked on his Instagram (subtle).
Though, the fans may be satisfied with this #throwback personified, we have to admit it still doesn't compare to 90s Leo.
Leonardo DiCaprio was, and is, a heartthrob. From Romeo + Juliet to Titanic, the 90s was Leo's decade with fangirls going crazy for the star's boyish good looks and brooding intensity. Now 41-years-old, Leo is still the object of our affection, but for fans who prefer the days of the floppy haired ingenue, you could do a lot worse than Konrad. (If you find a better example, however, let us know.)
Here's a closing thought: imagine Leo and Konrad in the same room...
