The British-born singing sensation has recorded a duet with Jennifer Hudson
We thought we couldn't possibly be any more excited about the release of Sex and the City 2, until it was revealed that Leona Lewis is set to star on the soundtrack.
The British beauty has recorded a song with superstar singer Jennifer Hudson, which is tipped to be the theme tune for the highly anticipated Sex and the City 2 film, due out in May.
‘The pair have recorded the song and it's being discussed as either the main theme or to feature on the soundtrack,' said a source.
‘They each have incredible voices and will appeal to both the UK and the US.
‘It's perfect for the next SATC film.'
An amazing step for lovely Leona, the Hackney-born star is fast becoming one of the most sought after voices in Hollywood.
The X-factor winner has already made it onto the soundtracks of the two biggest films of the year - Avatar and Precious - and this latest role is set to cement her place as one our firm favorites.
Do you think Leona is the perfect choice for the Sex and the City soundtrack? Or would you prefer to see someone else take the role? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.
