From Hackney to Hollywood, Leona Lewis splashes out on Tuscan-style mansion in the A-list LA neighbourhood.
She said that she’d never leave Hackney permanently but having just bought a stunning Hollywood home, we can’t see why Leona Lewis would want to leave her new luxurious house or the Californian sunshine.
The 24 year-old, who is the X Factor’s most successful singer, signed on the dotted line for the £1.8 million mansion in September. And last night celebrated the success of her second album, Echo, which has gone straight to number one.
The new home in LA is a far cry from the £120,000 flat that Leona bought in Hackney last year. The Tuscan-style house boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a separate guest wing across a tiled courtyard.
The house also has a sweeping staircase, pool with a waterfall and hot tub and parking for ten cars. There are also four outdoor entertaining areas.
But a house like this requires security and thankfully there are surveillance cameras all around the house and 8ft electronic gates.
Security is bound to be a big issue for Leona who was recently punched by a fan during a book signing in London. And in May Leona was forced to move from her rented flat in Hackney because she was being stalked by a male fan.
