The heartfelt tweet earns Lea a place in the record books after 408,266 people shared a picture of the couple, with the caption: ‘Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.’

The sad news of Paul Walker’s death from the actor’s official Twitter account received over 400,000 retweets, making it the second-highest this year for equally heart-breaking reasons.
