Kylie meets with medical experts for pioneering operation to have baby

Kylie Minogue is set to have a revolutionary operation to help her have a baby.

The 39-year-old pop princess has met with medical experts about the possibility of having a pioneering new operation that should allow the star to conceive naturally.

After undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer, there was a chance Kylie would never have children. The singer previously underwent treatment for IVF with on-off boyfriend Olivier Martinez but had two failed attempts before she was first diagnosed with cancer.

A friend of the star said: 'She knows that time isn't standing still and wants to start a family sooner rather than later.

'She's been taking advice on whether she's physically fit enough now, and whether medical science is advanced enough, for her to consider going ahead with the operation.'

The friend also revealed that Kylie has been talking to Olivier recently about getting back together and fulfilling her dream of becoming a mother.

Talking about a potential reconciliation, the source said: 'There's nothing she'd love more – but she'd want to do it properly this time and that means having children. They haven't come to an agreement yet but Kylie is willing to go it alone and be a single mum if that's what it takes'.
