After months of rumours, the star has finally confirmed there will be a Minogue musical, revealing she may even co-direct
After months of speculation, Kylie Minogue has finally confirmed there’s a Mamma Mia-style musical on the way, set to feature all her greatest hits.
The star has hinted in the past that she’s been thinking of taking her musical numbers to the stage, but has kept her plans quiet, until now.
Rumours suggest Kylie’s close pal William Baker might be involved in the project, but the star has admitted she’s aiming to ‘get a couple of writers involved’.
And that’s not all. Miss Minogue also revealed she’s going to be very hands-on with the project, and might even turn her hand to directing.
‘I would like to get a couple of writers involved. I think we’ll probably co-direct it,’ she told Black Book magazine.
‘It was much more personal than I thought it would be, with these girls in front of you with real emotion and I found it really difficult,’ she revealed in an interview with GMTV.
‘But if I could do that same again this year with Dannii, I definitely would.’
