Reality TV star marries LA Lakers player Lamar Odom after whirlwind romance
Things happen pretty fast in Los Angeles, but getting married after one month seems light-speed!
Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian married LA Lakers basketball player Lamar Odom this weekend, after the couple had only been seeing each other for a month.
Khloe stars with her sisters Kim and Kourteney in the reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Cameras were ever-present at the bride’s big day to film the event for the girls’ show.
Guests at the wedding included Kelly Osbourne, who is appearing in the US version of Strictly; American Idol host and producer of the Kardashian’s show, Ryan Seacrest; Lakers player Kobe Bryant with wife Vanessa and an assortment of other TV personalities.
Kim, a pregnant Kourteney and Khloe’s half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner were all bridesmaids for Khloe.
The bride, 25, wore a white Vera Wang dress, while her bridesmaids were dressed in lilac.
The 250 guests were treated to a four-course meal including wild salmon and filet mignon, before dancing the night away at the Hollywood night club-themed reception.
Khloe and Lamar, 29, were married at a private ceremony at the house of a family friend, music producer Irving Azoff.
They have both signed an exclusive $300,000 deal with a magazine to publish the photos from their wedding.
The couple know their critics say the marriage won’t last.
Lamar told waiting reporters that marriage was about ‘faith’ and ‘trust’, and added, ‘Love is crazy. People get divorced after being married for 18 years… you never know.’
Khloe also stars in a TV show with sister Kourteney about their clothes shop in Miami, while sister Kim is famous largely for appearing in a leaked sex tape.
Ryan Seacrest said he hadn’t ruled out a new show following Khloe and Lamar during the first few months of their marriage.
Let’s hope it lasts for a least a couple of episodes…
