Keira Knightly says no to breast enhancement for new movie
Keira Knightley has refused to allow her cleavage to be enhanced on publicity photos for her upcoming movie The Duchess, according to reports.
Film studios bosses apparently wanted to enlarge Knightley’s assets in the photos so she appears more buxom in her low-cut period costumes, but the actress has put her foot down and said no.
One insider revealed: ‘She has insisted that her figure stay in its natural state. She is proud of her body and doesn’t want it altered.’
The actress has faced similar dilemmas when promoting previous films. In 2004 she was criticised for publicity stills for King Arthur in which her breasts appeared abnormally large and Knightley confirmed speculation telling Fox News: ‘Those things certainly weren’t mine’.
The 23-year-old has admitted she would like to have a bigger bustline. Speaking to GMTV last year she revealed: ‘I would love to have [breasts]! I’m never going to get [them]. I’m naturally who I am.’
