Katie and Peter to meet this week for crisis talks

Katie and Peter are reportedly set to meet this week – to hold crisis talks about their broken marriage.

The couple, who announced their separation after nearly four years of marriage last Monday, will meet on Thursday to thrash out who will care for Harvey, seven, Junior, three, and Princess Tiaami, one, according to the Daily Mirror.

Following the shock split announcement, Katie fled to the Maldives while Pete has been spending time with family in Cyprus.

According to the paper, Pete has made no bones about the fact he is only returning to the UK for the meeting in the interest of the kids – not for Katie.

He is thought to have been upset at being split from the children, who have been with their mum, with the exception of Harvey, who is being looked after by a nanny.

Peter seems to be distraught by the break-up, and seemingly burst into tears after seeing pictures of his kids and his estranged wife in the papers.

His older brother Chris was seen giving him a supportive hug and leading him into the £1 million villa Andre had built for Katie and the family.

Pete told reporters hanging around outside: 'Being apart from my kids is just breaking my heart. It’s destroying me.'

Meanwhile, Katie has been revealing her heartache on microblogging site Twitter.

She wrote over the weekend: 'I'm still keeping a dignified silence. I have made no comments, they are made up.

'I'm heartbroken. I never wanted any of this. We all miss Pete.'
