How has Kate Moss bagged herself a new job with a £100 million pay packet?
Kate Moss is already worth a fortune, but the mega-rich supermodel is set to become a whole lot richer – with a new £100 million job alongside Simon Cowell and Sir Philip Green.
The canny star is set to join forces with Simon and her Topshop boss Sir Philip to form a global entertainment super-company to rival Disney.
The multi-million pound deal could see Moss directing the style and the image of the £1 billion brand, possibly doubling her already-sizeable fortune to £100 million.
A friend told the Daily Mail: 'Kate has been signed as a figurehead and style-setter for the fashion end of the business. She will bring her expertise to the table, advising on all branding and style for clothes, hair and accessories.
'She will also be involved in finding and signing new bands and promoting them. Something that has also been talked about is Kate developing her own singing career and starting a music label.
'She has a big network of people they have no access to and they want her to make the new venture hip, not so nerdy, and up to date.
'In return Kate will net a big share of the profits. Her entire fortune would double within a year bringing her up to the £100 million mark.'
Friends for ten years, Simon and Philip have finally decided to go into business together, pooling their finances, resources and industry knowledge to create a worldwide business, which straddles showbiz and fashion.
The plan would see them own all the rights and content of the TV programmes Cowell produces, including Britain's Got Talent, The X Factor and America's Got Talent.
The idea is to take the hit shows to more countries and sell millions of pounds worth of merchandise on the back of their success.
And, after a super-successful Topshop pairing and friendship with Sir Philip, Kate Moss has been invited to get on board and enjoy a slice of the action.
