Meet the parents: Lance Armstrong has lunch with Kate's mum Goldie
Things must be getting serious between new couple Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong – the actress has already introduced him to mum Goldie Hawn, and all three shared a cosy lunch in Santa Monica this week.
Lance and Kate, who looked stunning in a sea-green maxi dress, joined mum Goldie for a late lunch in Santa Monica's Ivy at the Shore – and the trio looked to be getting on famously.
One onlooker told the Daily Mail: 'They all looked very relaxed and comfortable in each other's company.
'And if Goldie's smiles during the meal are any indication, Lance managed to win her approval.'
It seems the seven-time Tour de France winner's reputation as a bit of a ladies' man didn't faze Ms Hawn, then. After a two-year romance with singer Sheryl Crow, Lance dated designer Tory Burch, before he was spotted canoodling with Ashley Olsen – 15 years his junior - in the Gramercy Park Hotel in NY.
Kate and Lance started dating in May, after hitting it off during a visit to the Bahamas.
