Dita Von Teese rumoured to be dating Russell Brand
Following a flirtatious encounter at the Oscars this weekend, it is rumoured that Dita Von Teese could be dating Russell Brand.
Speaking to The Mirror, Brand admitted that he had chatted to the burlesque star at a pre-Oscars party, and had walked away with her phone number.
'I saw Dita von Teese at the Chateau Marmont Hotel,' Brand revealed. 'Eventually she saw me and we started chatting. I was saying some brilliantly funny things, slowly tempting her into my web.
'It was going well and she goes, "Would you like my number? Call me any time you are bored."'
He added: 'Later I texted her: "Oddly, now I feel perpetually bored. Everything seems pale having met you". She replied: "You have a way with words". So it’s all going well.'
Brand is in LA talking to film producers in the hope of turning his recent autobiography into a film. Russell is set to play himself in the movie, with Michael Winterbottom on board to direct.
