Actress Helena Bonham Carter welcomes baby girl

Helena Bonham Carter and her director husband, Tim Burton, are celebrating the birth of a baby girl.

The actress gave birth to her second child - the couple already have a four-year-old son, Billy - on Saturday night, and the pair are said to be over the moon.

‘They are absolutely delighted they have a daughter,’ Helena’s rep, Karon Maskill, tells People. ‘It's a lovely Christmas present for the family.’

Helena, 41, and Tim, 49, were both recently nominated for Golden Globe awards for Sweeney Todd - she for best actress and he for best director.
