Geri Halliwell engaged after month-long fling
Geri Halliwell and her Italian millionaire boyfriend have got engaged – after just one month of dating.
The shipping tycoon proposed to the former Spice Girl this month after meeting her in December at a Florence nightclub.
Geri's management firm, 19, yesterday said: 'We are delighted to announce the engagement of Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi.
'As a token of their commitment to each other Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season.
'There are no immediate plans for marriage as the couple are enjoying their engagement.'

Geri's past conquests include brief liaisons with Robbie Williams and fellow flame-haired star Chris Evans.
She met scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi in 2005. The pair only dated a few months before splitting, but Geri went on to give birth to their daughter, Bluebell Madonna, in May 2006.
Since then, Geri enjoyed a relationship with dancer Ivan Velez - known as Flipz - whom she met on the Spice Girls reunion tour.
