  • Hermione Granger for Draco Malfoy? No thanks...

While millions of hearts around the world have fallen under Emma Watson’s spell, the Harry Potter star revealed that her first crush was in fact co-star Tom Felton.

The British actress, who of course played Hermione Granger in the films, says that she developed a crush on Felton, aka Hogwarts villain Draco Malfoy, during the filming of the first two Harry Potter films back in 2001 and 2002. At the time, the child actors were aged 11 and 13 respectively.

‘He was my first crush. He totally knows. We talked about it [and] we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that’s cool,’ she told Seventeen.

She also said of the dating game: ‘I’m so impatient – it’s one of my worst traits. If I want to see someone, I want to see them, and if I don’t, then I don’t. My friends are always telling me I have to play hard to get because I’ll pretty much say to a guy, “I like you – let’s go hang out.”

‘But my friends are like, ‘You can’t do that! You have to string this guy along.”

Nowadays, Emma is actually much more private about her relationships; she recently revealed in an interview why she never talks about her boyfriend.

If you ask us, we’re very glad that the pair didn’t get together – that would have thrown a major spanner in the works for Hermione and Ron’s relationship.

    Ah, young love…
