OK, he might have slightly lost the toned, taut physique he displayed as he emerged from the sea in those form-fitting La Perla shorts in Casino Royale, but Daniel Craig was still a sight for sore eyes as he recreated the scene on holiday in St. Barts.

The 007 star is enjoying a well-earned vacation on the Caribbean island with his film producer girlfriend, Satsuki Mitchell, who gave Vespa Lynd actress Eva Green a run for her money in a hot-pink bikini.

The couple, who got engaged earlier this year, are taking a break from gruelling filming schedules - as well as filming and promoting Bond sequel The Quantum of Solace, Craig also stars in the upcoming World War Two epic Defiance, for which he had to learn Russian.

Craig, who plays one of four Polish brothers in the film, which is already tipped for Oscar success, said: 'It was a nightmare for me because I'm just the worst student in the world - I left school at 16.

'I had to do it phonetically, learn it and understand it.’

Daniel and Satsuki met three years ago on the set of the 2005 film, The Jacket. And if their kissing, cuddling and general frolicking around on the beach is anything to go by, they're still enjoying the 'honeymoon' stage of their relationship.
