If we're honest, we will probably never really leave our love of fairytales behind and even just the thought of being a real life Disney princess fills us with a secret glee. Hence our slight envy at Emma Watson being cast as Belle in Beauty in the Beast and now Lily James being cast as a beautiful Cinderella in a real life adapatation of the Disney classic.

No less than three trailers (ok, two trailers and a teaser) have been been released for the new film and we've already watched them about five times. Each.

The film is everything you expect from a modern remake of classic Disney: Cue whimsical sets, humans who make friends with animals and a chance meeting with your one true love, who you manage to bump into again and again, despite all the odds being set against you.

But the three best things about this particular film are a brilliantly menacing Cate Blanchett as the wicked step-mother, a blonde and sparkly Helena Bonham-Carter as the fairy godmother and our personal new crush, Richard Madden as Prince Charming. Swoon.
