Christian Bale caught on tape in foul-mouthed attack on Terminator crew member

Rumours abound that Christian Bale has somewhat of a fiery temper – but the star has been caught on tape unleashing a foul-mouthed rant at a crew member on the set of the upcoming Terminator movie.

Bale apparently threatens to kick the 'f****** ass' off Shane Hurlbut, the film's director of photography, for interrupting a particularly tricky scene in New Mexico last year.

The Welshman can allegedly be heard screaming the f-word 35 times during the incident, which happened just days before he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister in London hours before The Dark Knight premiere.

After Shane interrupts a scene between Bale's character John Connor and actress Dallas Bryce Howard, Bale allegedly kicks off

He orders: 'I want you off the f**king set you p***k. No don't just be sorry, think for one f**king second. What the f**k are you doing?'

Assistant director Bruce Franklin appears to try and defuse the argument before Bale's rage continues: 'Do I f**king walk around and rip... no, shut the f**k up Bruce… Do I...? No. No. Don't shut me up. Am I gonna walk around and rip your f**king lights down in the middle of a scene? Then why the f**k are you walking right through?'

'What the f**k is it with you? What is that you don't f**king understand. You got any f**king idea that, hey, it's f**king distracting having someone walking up behind Bryce in the middle of the f**king scene.'

Hurlburt can be heard trying to make amends for his interruption by praising the shoot before Bale snaps back: 'Good for you, I hope it was f**king good for you because it's useless now. F**k sake man you're amateur.'

The actor continues his rant when someone suggests he should take a minute to calm down.

'Let's not take a f**king minute, let's go again and let's not have you walking f**king in', shouts Bale.

'You're unbelievable. The amounts of times you're f**king strolling around in the background. I've never had a DP behave like this.

'I'm gonna f**king kick your f**king a** if you don't shut up for a second. Do you want me to go and f**king trash your lights. Do you want me to trash 'em? Then why are you trashing my scene?

'You are trashing my scene. If you do that one more f**king time, I ain't walking on this set if you're still hired. I'm f**king serious.

'You're a nice guy, you're a nice guy, but that don't f**king cut it if you're bulls**ting around like this on set.'

He finishes his diatribe warning the presumably shell-shocked Hurlbut: 'Seriously, you and me, we're f**king done professionally.'

Franklin has since been quoted defending the star, saying: 'If you are working in a very intense scene and someone takes you out of your groove... It was the most emotional scene in the movie… It was just a moment and it passed.

'This was my second movie with Christian, and it has always been a good experience with him. He is so dedicated to the craft.'
