The songstress has chosen Peas pal Will to join her at judges houses, after producers banned Derek Hough
The songstress was said to have had her heart set on Derek joining her as she chose her final group line-up.
Cheryl and her dancing BFF – who joined her on tour to perform steamy song Parachute – have become inseparable since her bout of Malaria, with Derek jetting around the world to be by her side as she recovers.
But it’s thought bosses weren’t keen on the idea of Derek appearing on the X Factor, with ITV executive producer Richard Holloway calling it ‘unprofessional’, and reportedly banning the American dancer from the show.
‘This is the biggest show on TV so he feels that, likewise, mentors should be the biggest names in the music industry, not the judge’s latest squeeze,’ one insider told the Mirror. ‘It’s unprofessional to say the least.’
‘Cheryl may adore Derek but unfortunately that feeling isn’t shared among The X Factor bigwigs.’
