Music producer Calvin Harris and his girlfriend Aarika Wolf were in a car accident over the weekend while driving in Beverly Hills. In a now-deleted Twitter statement, he confirmed that everybody was okay and that they had not sustained any injuries.

The deleted Tweet according to Digital Spy read, ‘I promised myself I'd never do anything worthy of appearing in TMZ ever again but sadly this was out of my control thankfully everyone is ok.’

It is not currently known why Harris deleted the tweet.

TMZ has reported that Aarika was driving a Range Rover with Calvin in the car, which struck a Honda with two women in it as it was turning left into a driveway. Allegedly, the crash resulted in a spin that set off the vehicle's airbags and forced them to face each other. In photographs of the crash scene on TMZ, the one side of the Honda is severely dented and airbags can be seen in both passenger windows.

In 2016, the DJ was also involved in a serious car accident which led him to cancel a concert at Omnia in Las Vegas. While en route, his representative said in a statement that he ‘was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport...He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days.’

He sustained minor lacerations while the 16 year old passenger suffered from a broken pelvis, according to the Press Association who spoke with LAPD officials.

Later, Calvin responded to the outpouring of support and said, ‘Thank you so much for your messages and sorry to any disappointment I caused with the show cancellations… I'm feeling lucky and very grateful rn.’
