Angelina beats Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston in Forbes list

Angelina Jolie has dethroned the queen of the chat show Oprah - to become the most powerful celebrity across the globe.

Angelina tops Forbes magazine’s annual Celebrity 100 list, based on media exposure and career earnings over the last year, beating love rival Jennifer Aniston and her partner Brad Pitt into eighth and ninth position.

With high-profile roles in movies like Wanted, Changeling, and Kung Fu Panda, Angelina has been raking it in, this year packing in a $27 million profit.

Oprah is, however, still the biggest earner – with $275 million – while Madonna, Beyoncé, Tiger Woods, Bruce Springsteen and Steven Spielberg came in third to seventh place.

Brad and Angelina, meanwhile, have vehemently denied recent reports that they are imminently to announce a split, with their rep calling the rumours, printed by the National Enquirer, ‘absolutely not true’.

Let’s hope Angie being crowned the most powerful of the A-list pair doesn’t put Brad’s nose out of joint!
