The singer is back with her ex, Tyler James
Back in the country after an extended break in the Caribbean, Amy Winehouse literally faced the music last night, giving her first performance in months for fans at the Jazz After Dark Club in Central London.
According to reports, the singer's impromptu set went down a storm with the crowd, but the thing that really got fans talking was the man on Amy's arm, later revealed to be her ex, Tyler James.
The pair dated in 2003, before the singer started her relationship with her now ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. James also supported Amy on tour and was once dubbed 'The British answer to Justin Timberlake' by The Face magazine.
Reports also claim that it was James who sent Amy's demo tape to an A&R person, who then helped her to land her first record deal.
The pair dined together before the gig at Pizza Express in Covent Garden and later at fish restaurant Livebait before heading to the trendy jazz club holding hands.
But things soon turned sour when Amy finished her performance and found herself in an angry struggle with doormen, who ushered her into her waiting car.
A source said: 'She was mobbed by fans in the tiny venue, and when one asked her for a kiss, she replied: "Sorry, I'm with my boyfriend."'
