Anna Wintour to style Adele for Grammys
British songstress Adele has an unlikely new mentor: Anna Wintour!
Getting the nod of approval from the notoriously frosty editor, the singer was picked to appear in a shoot for US Vogue, where she was photographed by the legendary Annie Liebowitz.
On being summoned to meet Ms Wintour, she said, 'Anna Wintour wanted to meet me, so I was waiting in the hallway. It was just like The Devil Wears Prada... I was really frightened and I went in and she was so nice.
'She was like, "What labels do you like?" I was trying to make up these designers that I was quite sure I had read in Vogue or something before.'
Following the meeting, Wintour clearly took a shine to the Brit, and offered to style her for this weekend's Grammys, and they've already picked an outfit.
Adele revealed, 'I got a really nice dress. I don't ever wear dresses. I wear dresses with tights and flat shoes and a cardigan. But I am going to get my boobs out and everything. It's going to be quite a big deal.'
We can't wait to see the results!
