It seems to be something of an emerging beauty trend of late...
From Heidi Klum's mumsy layered bob to Agyness Deyn's barely-there cut, and most recently, Hayden Panettiere's new slicked-back coiffure - celebs are losing the length and going short, short, short.
Only last month, Ms Zellweger was seen out and about sporting a simple, face-framing bob, but has since swapped for something decidedly more dramatic - in the form of this slightly blonder, fringed, feathered crop.
