Kendall Jenner might have been born mid-nineties (meaning some of us have handbags older than her) but this girl sure knows her beauty and, right now, we're loving her for it.
FACE OF A GENERATION
Kendall Jenner has been announced as the new face of Estée Lauder, putting her in the same realm as long-time brand ambassadors Carolyn Murphy, Joan Smalls and Hilary Rhoda. The beauty brand have signed Kendall because she is ‘fashion’s new breakout star and social media sensation’. The model of the moment really deserves that accolade, as she currently boasts over 30 million fans across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and has seen a meteoric rise in her career since walking in Marc Jacobs AW14 show last February.
Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Global Brand President, Estée Lauder said, ‘Bridging the worlds of high fashion, entertainment and social media, Kendall is a modern beauty who represents a whole new generation of women who live, breathe and share beauty, fashion and life 24/7, on their own terms, in a visually compelling way. She is the ultimate instagirl, and we are excited to leverage her image, voice, energy and extraordinary social media power to introduce Estée Lauder to millions of young women around the world.’
Kendall shared one picture from the new campaign on her instagram page and said of her new appointment, ‘It honestly feels like a dream to represent such an iconic beauty brand — it is an incredible honor and quite humbling. I found out when I was backstage at Paris fashion week, and all this time I’ve had to keep the news top secret. I am so excited to share it now and be part of Estée Lauder.’

Kendall Jenner’s no-makeup-makeup-look is near impossible to pull off without serious skill. Brows brushed, skin buffed and a glance of blusher is all it takes. LA kid turned Manhattan IT-Girl. Natural beauty trumps piling it on any day.
The smoky eye is every girl’s go-to for a sultry evening look but always takes more skill than first thought. This faint wash of chocolate is super sophisticated without being ageing and what’s more, the winged-out shape is perfection.
Beachy waves are the ultimate summer hairstyle. This is what the rest of us think we look like when we get out the pool when we really don’t. Far from blown out or thought out, this just looks relaxed and effortless.
Not even catwalk models are guaranteed to pull off pink eye make-up but the futuristic combo of grey powder shadow and a fuchsia liquid flick somehow actually suit her.
What girl wouldn’t dread walking this look down the Givenchy runway? Androgynous, cyborg and with weird face-taughtening tabs to boot, we’d look a hot mess, yet she made it FIERCE. Plus she let the backstage team bleach her brows – brave girl.
An immaculate red lip should be the practical exam in a beauty degree. Maybe she didn’t do this one herself but it’s the highest maintenance look you can wear and this tomato red shade is the perfect choice to suit her skin tone. She makes this look sleek and modern rather than old-school Hollywood.
When everyone else was running wild with the peach theme, Kendall took it just under the radar. The matching peachy skin, cheeks and lips make for a subtle touch, but the backcombed, mussed-up hair is the real point of interest. Nailed it.
This Givenchy armour dress could’ve taken all the attention but no chance when it’s paired with a slicked back equestrian pony and a steely blue metallic eye. She earned her beauty stripes for this one.
You can’t help but admire the sun-baked, double-dipped look. Bronzed limbs, bronze eyes, cheekbones contoured to the max – it’s a no fear approach to tanning. She is a Kardashian after all.
