Gucci Guilty hunk Chris Evans gets us giddy with Christmas spirit, and tells us how to successfully shop for the men in our lives...
Chris Evans never fails to swoon us in his role as the gorgeous face of Gucci’s Guilty scent, and this festive season is proving to be no exception.
Not to be mistaken for the British DJ, Chris is the Hollywood heartbreaker best known for his superhero roles in Captain America, Fantastic Four and Avengers Assemble. So his flesh-flashing campaigns for Gucci are a bonus, if anything.
With the holiday season in sight, Chris talks exclusively about his plans for the perfect Christmas. And we, of course, hang on his every word...
‘I come from a very big family in Boston,’ Chris tells us. ‘My extended family all lives in the Boston area. So we always have a lot of family and a lot of music.
‘I’m a big Johnny Mathis fan. So if you get some Johnny Mathis playing, some good pine smell in the air, and a lot of family around – that’s a good Christmas.’
And if you’re looking to sweep this A-lister off his feet, via, erm, his stomach, he says: ‘It’s got to be Turkey. We also serve ravioli before the Turkey, which my uncle makes with this amazing red sauce - it’s mostly wine. But you can’t beat the Turkey.’
As for the perfect gift, Chris shares his last minute tips: ‘Getting a bottle of Gucci fragrance is obviously a safe bet. It’s something that works for everyone. It’s got class, it’s got cache, it goes with everything.
‘I also like getting iTunes gift cards – I spend a lot of time on iTunes downloading music. So if you got that gift card it definitely helps.’
Adding: ‘Someone got me one of those electronic readers last year and it’s changed my life. You can carry thousands of books on this little thing. It’s made my life a lot easier.’
