The Harry Potter beauty is the new A-list ambassador for the beauty brand
Is there no end to the talents of the lovely Emma Watson? She's conquered the film industry, is a fashion pack darling, a successful student at US university Brown, and now she's set to dabble in the world of beauty, as the new ambassador for Lancôme.
The Harry Potter leading lady adds the high profile campaign to her already impressive modelling portfolio – remember those Burberry and People Tree ads? - and has reportedly received a six figure sum for her new gig.
Taking to Twitter to officially announce her new role, Em left a trail of clues for fans, before finally revealing the exciting beauty news.
'It starts with an L and ends with an E. I'm sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me!' she wrote.
Commenting on Emma's new role, Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôm International, revealed: 'Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity,Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation.
'We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma, who brings a fresh spirit to Lancome.'
Earlier today, pictures emerged of Miss Watson hard at work in Paris, posing for a print campaign shot by famous photographer, Mario Testino.
It's thought Emma's first Lancôme pictures will debut later this month, followed by a string of television ads.
News of Em's new role first surface back in February, when she admitted to being a 'big fan' of the beauty brand's products.
‘It’s so exciting, I can’t wait to start shooting' she raved. 'Although I don’t wear much make-up I’m a big fan of Lancome products, especially their mascara.’
Emma joins a long list of A-list beauties that have represented the brand, although it has typically aimed for more mature starlets, such as Julia Roberts, Uma Thurman, Juliette Binoche.
