There’s no doubt that all eyes were on Pippa Middleton when the Duchess of Cambridge wed Prince William. She stunned the world in that fitted Alexander McQueen dress so could this mean she’s likely to choose a similar gown when she marries James Matthews on Saturday May 20th at St Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire? All eyes will be on the ceremony that will be followed by a reception at the Middleton’s family home in Bucklebury…
Pippa Middleton’s wedding dress
Without the expectation of being the future Queen, Pippa can opt for a dress that expresses her individual style rather than one that fulfils royal protocol and since Pippa has long been a fan of British brand Temperley; the world is wondering if she’ll choose Alice Temperley to design her dress. Think slimline and simple.
A perfect dress for her from Temperley London would be the [above] Abel dress. It’s romantic, ethereal and ideal for a wedding in the country, right!?
Pippa Middleton’s wedding bouquet
According to Paul Thomas of Paul Thomas Flowers, he believes that Pippa might opt for lots of seasonal English flowers: ‘Pippa might choose flowers like garden roses, sweet peas, hydrangeas and peonies in a more informal laid back style to suit the venue and time of year,’ he says.
Carole Middleton’s dress
When it comes to the mother of the bride outfit for Carole Middleton, it’s likely that she is going to opt for a similar ladylike style as the Catherine Walker pale blue coatdress she wore to the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding. Rather than opt for blue, she might decide on pastel pink this time. This Jackie coat, Leavers Lace shift dress, and Pom Pom pillbox, all by Suzannah could be perfect…
Pippa Middleton’s flower girl dresses and pageboy outfits
Although Pippa’s wedding will undoubtedly be very different from her sister’s big day, it is still likely to have some similarities too. Pippa might choose Nicki Macfarlane, who was responsible for the flower girl dresses and pageboy outfits at Kate’s wedding, to create the outfits for her flower girls and pageboys, too.
Pippa’s wedding is without question going to be a beautiful and quintessentially English country wedding. It may lack the grandeur of her sister’s big day, but with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in attendance, it will still be the society wedding of the year.
